Two lakh tabs bought for 'Census and Household Census 2022' are being received by the Prime Minister as a gift to secondary and equivalent students.
By the end of May last year, the government bought three lakh 95 thousand tabs under the 'Population and Household Census 2021' project at a cost of Tk 447 crore 77 lakh 77 thousand 670.This decision was taken as these tabs were lying idle in the Bureau of Statistics (BBS) for about eight months. At this stage, a program was organized to distribute tabs among 318 meritorious students of 52 secondary schools of Savar Upazila.
